Creating Beauty & Restoring Balance With Harmonious Design

Gaia Sophia Permaculture Design is a Canadian, woman owned/operated permaculture design consulting business located in the serene bends of the Slocan Valley, in BC.
At Gaia Sophia Permaculture Design, we are dedicated to the noble arts of habitat restoration, the revitalization of watersheds, the mitigation of wildfires, and fostering food security and resilience.

Our passion lies in collaborating with private home-owners, market farmers, orchards, vineyards, and our local cherished small-scale organic farms. We also extend our expertise to developers, eco villages, and tiny house communities.

Our experience has spanned 20+ years of urban gardening projects, organic gardening and farming, orchard and vineyard work, landscaping, using biodynamic practices and traditional cultivation practices of many nations.

With almost a decade of hands-on experience, we also embrace the remarkable and complex world of goat, and rabbit hobby farms.

About Me.
As a devoted permaculture consultant, I weave spells of rejuvenation for damaged terrains, bolstering food resilience and crafting sustainable sanctuaries tailored to your unique aspirations.
My deepest desire is to heal the relationship between humans and nature. To end scarcity and greed by creating abundance everywhere, for all living beings.
I know that permaculture is the storehouse of earthly knowledge that has been carried by the people of earth from every corner of our planet, and that it is the answer to our collective prayers.
This knowledge is what I hope to share with you and all children for a brighter future for us and for them.
